What is it?

The term "Digital Imaging" being a somewhat general term is subject to many differing interpretations. In our case it is simply this. The art of changing images into something they originally were not. This web site provides many examples of just that, in many cases offering you not only the final retouched photographic art, but also a look at the original "starting point" art. Look for the "View Original" graphics on the portfolio sample pages and roll your curser over it to see what the original artwork looked like. It can be quite amazing.

The Artist

Gary Steadman has been editing, manipulating, montaging and retouching digital images for over 15 years. He has produced high quality imaging projects for nationally recognized clients such as Jim Beam, Famous Footwear, Motor Coach Industries and Miller Brewing Company. He was a charter member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and continues his membership today. His digital artwork was awarded the coveted First Place Genesis Award in 2003 and again in 2005 by the Communications Association of the Southern Tier NY.
